Before I say anything else, I think any road trip calls for a map with an itinerary!

This is how much road we covered during our North American tour! We still can't believe it, looking at the whole thing on a map. Although not every kilometre was worth it, and some detours ended up being quite the let-down, and sometimes it seemed as though we were driving endlessly (and aimlessly), we definitely made the most of the experience. We became more flexible, yet more organized; more patient, yet more ready for new experiences; more relaxed, yet more excited for things to come.
Some fun and random facts about our trip:
- 157 days on the road 🗓️
- 45,189 km travelled 🚙

And that wraps up our Big Journey of 2019! We took a well-deserved break at the in-laws for a month and a half, also to plan the last details of our trip to New Zealand. But that's for another blogpost! Stay tuned, folks! 💜
